Several Morecambe first team players are among those making the journey to Kendal tonight to face Lee Ashcroft’s men.
In what promises to be another exciting pre-season friendly at Parkside Road, Morecambe are set to hand starting places up front to ex Celtic striker Diarmuid O’ Carroll, and Rene Howe, recently secured on a season long loan from League one outfit Peterborough United.
Other first team players set to be involved include, Stewart Drummond, Henry McStay, Wayne Curtis, Ryan McCann and Craig Stanley.
With Sunderland’s greatly anticipated visit a week tomorrow, tonight’s game gives Ashcroft a fantastic chance to see how far his side has come since the start of pre-season training.
Kick off at the Parkside Road Road ground is at 7:45pm.
