Sunderland Football Club have announced that they are to bring four full internationals to tomorrow night’s game against Kendal Town.
Those added to an already strong squad include Swedish striker, Rade Prica, the front man has played 13 times for his country and scored two goals prompting Roy Keane to spend over £2 million pounds for the player in last seasons January transfer window.
Also confirmed is Republic of Ireland pair Paul McShane and Graham Kavanagh. Kavanagh joined the Black Cats from Wigan in August 2006 having played all but three of Wigan’s 2006/2006 Premiership games, while 22-year-old defender McShane joined Sunderland from West Bromwich Albion for a fee of £2.5 million.
Completing the quartet is Russell Anderson, the Scottish international centre back missed most of last season with an injury. But Roy Keane recently re-iterated his confidence in the player who he signed from Aberdeen for £1 million pounds in 2007.
Kick off tomorrow is at 7:30pm.
