A COMPLETE washout of fixtures in the 3-D Sports Northenr Cricket League on Saturday has left both Netherfield and Kendal in with a chance of snatching the title in a last-day finish to the season this coming Saturday.
Netherfield lead a top four - which are all in with a chance of the championship - by a mere three points from Blackpool with Morecambe and Kendal, in third and fourth, also in the shake-up.
Netherfield are scheduled to finish their fixtures at third-placed Morecambe on Saturday, while Kendal entertain Preston, who are in the bottom half of the table.
Blackpool, whose ground was virtually under water at the weekend, are due to host Chorley.
