Puma Trail day looks to better weather

ORGANISERS of the Lakeland Trails in Coniston are looking forward to putting the disappointment of cancelling the storm-ravaged last event in Keswick behind them.

The Lakeland Trails event in Coniston takes place on Saturday from Coniston Hall Showground, on the shores of Coniston Water.

Westmorland MP Tim Farron, will be competing against the international athletes in the main sell-out 15km Puma Coniston Trail Race, and helping with the prizegiving.

The new Bridgedale Coniston Sport Trail sets off from Coniston Hall Showground with entries being accepted on the day.
