The Kendal Sprint Triathlon saw nearly 100 competitors enjoy the summer conditions on a demanding course last Sunday.

The event promoted by Kudu Bikes Triathlon Club comprised of 30 lengths (750m) swim followed by 20km bike ride out past Oxenholme Station towards Kirkby Lonsdale and back followed by a quick 5km run loop around Natland.

Richard Hunt, winner of Kendal Duathlon in 2007 recorded a winning time of 64.28, some two minutes short of the course record.
