WITH Kendal Town’s Tuesday night match cancelled because of the rain, Lee Ashcroft’s side will be desperate to make up any lost ground on their fellow Unibond Premier league rivals Saturday at their Parkside Road ground.
Lee Ashcroft has built a team that plays entertaining football and has every chance of maintaining its current position in the play-off places until the end of the season. It’s a case of ‘as you were’ tomorrow as Kendal line up against Worksop Town – the team they beat on the road last Saturday. Fans will be hoping for a repeat performance when the game gets under way at 3pm.
KENDAL Rugby Club face a long day on the road as they look to improve their away league form at Leicester against high-flying Leicester Lions who are second in the National League Three North league.
The game promises to be a tough test for newly-promoted Kendal, but there are fewer teams they would rather get their first away win against. Kick-off at 3pm.
