Motorcycling - Ellison joins Superbikes champion team

EXCITING times look ahead for James Ellison as the Kendal motorcycle racer has picked up a plum ride with the current British Superbike champions GSE Racing.

Ellison joins Leon Camier aboard the all new Yamaha YZF-R1 as the team go for a record fifth British Superbike title in 2009.

Former MotoGP rider and winner of the British Superbike Cup on a Yamaha in 2004, James joins GSE Racing from Honda with whom he finished seventh in this year’s British Superbike Championship.

Leon joined GSE Racing for the 2008 season, scoring a total of three wins and a further five podium places on his way to fifth in the championship.
