THE F15 fleet from the RWYC scooped up their usual trophies at the end-of- season prizegiving held at the Hydro Hotel on Saturday evening.
Nigel Tullett (Kiffs) was the major prizewinner with 20 victories, including the Higham Trophy for most points and the Lady Belle Average Cup for the highest averages of the fleet.
John Atkinson and Elizabeth Moreton (Funny Enuff) took away the Heartbeat Trophy for second highest points, along with seven more trophies.
From the club’s Classic F15 fleet, David, Shirley and Philip Snewin (Freyja) scooped the Wrigley Trophy for averages and Carole and Dave Berry (Fftse) won the Classic Cup for points.
Other trophy winners included Frank Kelly, John and Elizabeth Oxborrow, Terry and Christine Tinn, Bev Armer, Miles and Cathy Thompson, David Brockbank, Phil Evans and Richard Rigg.
The fleet’s 2009 season begins in April with the Spring Series under the new captaincy of Nigel Tullett.
