BURNLEY might have been focussed on the town team's glorious night at Chelsea, but Kendal Town were on a mission of their own at local North West Counties side Padiham, whom they blitzed 7-2 in the Lancashire Trophy on Wednesday night.
Following on from their 5-0 demolotion of Bradford Park Avenue, Town's striker were hungry for goals with Alex Taylor racking up a four-timer.
Carl Osman, Craig Hobson and Danny Wisdom also joined in the scoring as Lee Ashcroft's side led3-1 at half time and went on to pile on the misery in the second half.
Padiham's goals came from ex-Town man Paul Fildes.
