FOLLOWING weeks of postponed games, Kendal Town will be looking forward to a run of fixtures over the Christmas period.
Town’s enforced absence has seen them slip down the pecking order in the Unibond Premier league. But with games in hand over their league superiors, Town’s fate is still very much in their hands.
Lee Ashcroft’s men face 18th in the league Ossett Town tomorrow. The West Yorkshire side travel to Cumbria with a mixed run of recent form and with only three away wins under their belt this season. Kendal, who will be looking to redouble their promotion push, will be aiming to claim maximum points from the fixture.
The Boxing Day game also sees Town in action against one of the division’s lower lights. Kendal travel to Cammell Laird on December 26. While Laird have claimed some sizable scalps this season, Kendal’s relentless away form will stand them in good stead for a good result.
Both games kick off at 3pm.
