THE NINE Standards Fell Race takes place from Kirkby Stephen on New Year's Day.
The 8.5 mile race starts at noon from Market Square in the village.
The £4 entry tickets can be brought on the day from 10am at the Sports and Social Club.
A prizegiving will follow the event at 2pm.
Cumbria Kendal Scaffold and Pete Bland Sports sponsor this year's race.
