BRADFORD and Bingley are hoping that today's National League 3 North game against Kendal will go ahead, despite the overnight frost.
Bees secretary Nick Patterson spoke to the Gazette after the club had held an inspection shortly after 10am on Saturday morning.
"If we had to play on the pitch now the game could not go ahead. But we are hoping with the temperature forecast to rise five degrees and when the sun begins to shine that we will be able to get the fixture on."
He said the club would wait for the arrival of the match referee and the two captains to make a final judgement.
He added: "We've had to make a call on this one - you might want to shout as us later - but this is it."
