JUMPS racing at Carlisle on Wednesday was subject to a 3pm inspection today (Tuesday) because of snow and ice on the course.
Top jockey A.P.McCoy is down to ride at the meeting and is still looking for two more winners to reach his 3,000-winners career landmark.
McCoy is booked on two rides for Jonjo O'Neill and two for Donald McCain.
Twilight Eagle is his first mount in the 'Cheltenham Preview Evening Novices Handicap Chase for O'Neill.
Cromwell Court and Huckleberry are his rides for McCain and are quite well-fancied.
Better weather today raised hopes but overnight frost is another problem and a spokesman for the course reported that "the odds are stacked against us".
