FORMER skipper Tony Hallam has made a surprise return to Kendal Town, finding a place in the starting line-up against second-placed Hednesford Town in the Unibond League's Premier Division at Parkside Road today (Saturday).
Hallam quit the club last month after failing to hold down a regular place in the side since before Christmas.
He was named at centre-back alongside Dan Wordsworth.
Returning Scott Redhead was named on the subs' bench.
