KENDAL Town lost 2-1 to Radcliffe Borough in the semi-final of the Lancashire Co-op Cup at Parkside on Thursday evening.
A deflected Mark Drew goal before half time put Radcliffe ahead and Griff Jones added a second from the penalty spot in the second half.
Danny Wisdom scored from close range from player/manager Lee Ashcroft's cross to put Kendal on the scoresheet. George Melling came close to sending the game to extra time, shooting from outside the area and forcing the visiting keeper into a fine finger-tip save.
