TWO goals in the last three minutes snatched a belated point for Lee Ashcroft's Kendal Town in a 2-2 draw away at Buxton in the Premier Division of the Unibond League on Tuesday evenings.
Kendal were not on song on the trip to the Peak District and went a goal down after five minutes when Gavin Knight was on target, and then Mark Reed added another on 21 minutes for the home side.
Kendal's team spirit showed as they kept going without any reward for much of the second half.
Three minutes from the end of normal time Alex Taylor put them back in the game, and they completed a fine comeback with a late equaliser in stoppage time from Keiran Walmsley.
