Football - Town boss on the play-off run-in opponents

KENDAL town boss Lee Ashcroft gives his verdict on the team's opponents as they bid for a place in the play-offs.

Ashton United - A team with a similar budget to Kendal and they were top early on, but I think we’ve sustained our form better and although they can still beat anyone on their day we’ll be looking for three points from this one.

Marine - Title favourites at the start of the season and they beat us 2-1 at Parkside. But they’ve fallen off the pace and are along way behind us. Must win.

Bradford Park Avenue - This will be the one that decides if we’re in the play-offs or not. It's a huge fixture and providing we set ourselves up with good results leading up to this one, we’ll give it our very best shot and anything could happen.

Buxton - Last game of the season, it could be that we need a win to get into the play-offs and Buxton need a win just to stay up, so I’m sure it’ll be a nail-biter for both fans. But it's there for the taking and we’ve got home advantage, another must win.
