A WEAKEND Cartmel side put a huge dent in Ingleton’s title ambitions with a 2-1 home win in the Premier Division.
Visiting Ingleton had a player sent off inside the opening 15 minutes but still managed to take the lead thanks to a well-taken goal from Sam Hargreaves. But Cartmel worked their way back into the game as their opposition tiered in the afternoon sunshine.
With just four minutes remaining the home side drew level via youngster Daniel Brown and with barely any time of the game remaining a mistake in the Ingleton defence allowed Michael Robinson it slip in and score.
Ingleton must now win their last three games and hope others around them drop points if they are to claim the title.
