In Division One promotion chasing Bentham dropped two vital points as Cartmel Reserves held them to a goalless draw in a game that Bentham should have won.
Despite failing to convert any of their chances Bentham remain top thanks to their superior goal difference over second placed Bowerham.
Grange’s difficult season has ended in relegation to Division Two. Despite fielding a weak team Storeys were too good for Grange and the visitors ran out 4-0 winners to send Grange down with Torrisholme.
A pulsating eight-goal thriller between Ingleton Reserves and College AFC finished with the honours shared at 4-4. College raced into an early two-goal lead only for Ingleton to fight their way back with goals from Will Smith and Alex Hartley. A Dave Baren strike and a late own goal ensured Ingleton split the points after College had once again established a lead.
In Division Two a brace from the excellent James Kirkham ensured Arnside ran out 2-0 winners over relegated Galgate. Arnside have an outside chance of finishing third providing they beat Kirkby Lonsdale and Overton lose both their remaining fixtures.
In Division Three the title is far from decided with three teams still in with a chance, second placed Allithwaite must beat Gregson and hope third placed Squires fail to utilise their game in hand if they are to steal top spot from leaders Halton.
