Whatever happens in tonight’s play-off semi-final between Ilkeston and Kendal Town, Lee Ashcroft’s side are certain to have at least one big day out left this season as the club has today confirmed a friendly against a Manchester United XI.
The match will be played at Parkside Road on Saturday 9th May. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Wednesday) from 6pm at the Park and cost six pounds.
The Machester United XI are to be managed by Old Trafford legend Ole Gunner Solskjaer and is set to contain a string of United reserve team players and several familiar names.
Tickets are sold on first come first serve basis with a ground capacity of 3,000
