SKY Television will be at the Kendal Town v Manchester United XI friendly today.
One of Sky’s football match commentators John Richardson has helped to arrange the fixture and revealed the satellite TV broadcaster is coming to do a piece on the match which will be put out on Sky News later in the week.
Meanwhile, Kendal Town boss Lee Ashcroft has expressed his pride that Manchester United had chosen to come to Kendal Town.
He said: “ This tops the season off. It means so much when a club like the World Champions Manchester United are prepared to send a side to a club at our level in the Unibond League”.
“ It doesn’t happen very often at all and I want the people of Kendal and the district to come down and share what will be a special day for all involved with the club”.
