BENDRIGG Lodge are staging their annual 10k road race on Saturday, June 6 to coincide with the charity's summer fete.
The race takes in a circuit of the undulating countryside that surrounds Bendrigg Lodge in Old Hutton near Kendal.
It starts at 2pm and entries can be taken on the day. For the first time runners can also register online at the charity's website - www.bendrigg.org.uk.
Race entry costs £6 for affiliated runners and £8 for unattached runners.
Minimum age for competitors in the 10k race is 16-years-old. Each competitor will receive a commemorative award and there is also a good prize list.
A two-mile fun run will follow the main race, and the summer fete, which is open from 1.30pm to 4.40pm will include many attractions including climbing/abseiling, an adventure course, archery, a tube slide, a BBQ and much more.
