BENDRIGG Lodge are staging their annual ten-kilometre road race on tomorrow to coincide with the charities summer fate.
The ten-kilometre race takes in a circuit of the undulating countryside that surrounds Bendrigg Lodge in Old Hutton near Kendal.
The race starts at 2pm and entries can be taken on the day. For the first time runners can also register online at the charities website www.bendrigg.org.uk. Race entry costs £6.00 for affiliated runners and £8.00 for unattached runners.
Each competitor will receive a commemorative award and there is also a good prize list. A two-mile fun will follow the main race, and the summer fate which is open from 1.30pm to 4.40pm is set to include many attractions including climbing/abseiling, an adventure course, archery, a tube slide, a BBQ and much more.
Minimum age for competitors in the ten-kilometre race is 16-years-old.
