HOSTS Windermere collected the Westmorland Inter-Club Championshield Shield after competing with Kendal and Appleby clubs for the annual honour on Sunday.

Windermere dominated the awards: Junior foursomes, best gross - Josh Richardson & Chris Kirkpatrick (Windermere) on 75.

Best singles gross and Graham Andrew Shield winner - Adam Chapman (Windermere) 68.

Junior Shield - Windermere won with 336, Appleby second on 347 and Kendal third on 362.5.

Veterans Salver - Windermere won on 226 with Appleby second on 234 and Kendal third on 243.

Best veterans gross and the Graham Andrew Salver - Cliff Heath (Windermere) 73.

Senior Foursomes - A tie between three Windermere pairings on 67: Ernie Foster & Tudor Griffiths, David Wilkinson & Howard Lawton and Gordon Greaves and Andrew Atkinson.

Best singles score and the Graham Andrew Bowl - Ernie Foster (Windermere) with a gross 65 after a card play-off with Howard Lawton (Windermere).

Championship Shield - Windermere won with 614, Kendal second on 641 and Appleby third on 657.
