RUGBY playing pupil from Sedbergh School, Tom Hicks, has officially been awarded an England Under-18 cap by John Owen, President Elect of the RFU, and Dave Reed, England U18 Forward Coach.
Tom first played for England against Japan in March.
Dan Harrison, director of rugby at Sedbergh School, said: “Tom has had a distinguished career as a second row at Sedbergh School, and developed noticeably during the school's rugby tour to South America last summer. “Subsequently, he was instrumental in helping the Sedbergh 1st XV to beat long-term rivals Millfield last season, and finish top of the Canterbury Rankings at Christmas.”
