HANDSOME centuries from both Terry Hunte (116no) and Ross McMillan (111) were made to count for little in the final analysis at Kendal's match against Barrow at Shap Road on Saturday was abandoned.
Hunte and professional McMillan came together with the score on 7-2 and put on a superb unbroken third-wicket stand of 238 to take Kendal to a total of 245-2 as they completed their 50 overs.
Barrow were 15-0 in reply after 4.1 overs when the weather closed in and heavy rain meant the match had to be abandoned.
Netherfield had a bye in the league this weekend.
