THREE riders all scored a maximum 300 points in the fifth Lakeland Lanequest series.
David Heffernan, David Hollingham and Mike Toyn visited all 30 controls to achieve the feat.
Wheelbase rider Toyn had already secured the series title with maximum scores in all the previous four events.
They were closely followed by Andy Stubbs and Ray Morriss, both scoring 290 and Henry Syska on 288 points.
Starting from The Anglers Arms, Haverthwaite, the course set by series organiser Carol McNeill the event offered the plenty of route options.
She had placed a cluster of controls north of Haverthwaite on a loop that included Finsthwaite, and Stott Park, with all the other controls south of Newby Bridge, covering an area that included High Newton, Cartmel and Cark.
A major consideration in route planning was the massive climb past Bigland Hall and a nasty surprise for the unwary.
A puncture for Anne Plant in the Solo Women class threatened her 100 per cent record when she scored 256, to narrowly beat second-placed Heather Milligan 254, followed by Mary Ockenden 234 and Lynn Woods 220.
Garry & Eve Dixon scored a clear victory in the Generation Pairs with 260 points, from Karen & Bryony Halcron 220, and Chris Stevens & Hannah Cleary Hughes 198, then Duncan & Thomas Rhodes with 190, and in the Juniors class Tim Crozier scored a superb 280.
In the Adult pairs/3s class Vicky & Nicky Jones with 270 narrowly beat Andy & Sarah Crozier 268, followed by David White & Chris Schofield and Jack Simpson & Matthew Murgatroyd both pairs scored 260.
