Town hit Garstang for eight

KENDAL Town’s busy pre-season got of to a great start as Lee Ashcroft’s side ran riot at Garstang to finish 8-1 winners.
Town striker Alex Taylor stole the show as the former Burnley man bagged a hat-trick against West Lancashire League Garstang.
Other goals came from winger Carl Osman while two trialists made a name for themselves with one securing a brace and the other scoring late on.
The result will come as a welcome confidence boost for Kendal as they now prepare to take on League One Carlisle United at Parkside Road this Thursday night.
Kick off on Thursday is at 7.45pm entry Adults £6 - OAPs £3 - U16s £1.
