KENDAL’S work ethic to secure a four-try bonus-point against Westoe was praised by chief coach Jon Nicholson.
After Kendal clawed back a ten-point deficit to run out 46-10 winners, Nicholson said: “ The victory against Westoe was very satisfying on a number of fronts.
“Firstly in the manner in which we responded after finding ourselves under pressure during the opening ten minutes, a complete turnaround from the reverse fixture in October.
“ Secondly the quality and speed of ball we produced, which was an area the players had worked hard on during the week and played a major part in the build up to all our first half tries.
“Finally the work ethic during the second period when not everything was going our way but eventually led to a further three tries in the last quarter and more importantly the elusive four-try bonus point.
“This Saturday Bradford & Bingley are fighting for their very survival and it is paramount that we show no mercy and build on the foundations laid last week.”
