SWIMMERS from Troutbeck Bridge picked up a staggering 21 medals at its Medals Gala at Lakes Leisure, Kendal.
Competitors from around Cumbria and North Lancashire descended on the Kendal pool for the gala but the hosts reigned supreme.
There were top performances by Mark Davis and Hannah Noble who both swam to medal positions in all five of their events, while Max Edgecombe took four golds - in Butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle.
Faye Rawlison also collected speeding ticket medals for butterfly, backstroke and freestyle before claiming breaststroke and individual medley golds.
Laura Garrick was superb on her way to victory in the backstroke and freestyle events while Stephanie Booth’s all round techqniue brought individual medley and backstroke gold.
There were also golds for Hazel Marsh, Amy Maud and Claire Wilson while nine-year-old Anna Kaye collected her first ever gold by winning the breaststroke event.
In the boys competitions Ben Davis pushed brother Mark for a medal in freestyle and gold medal in the butterfly while Lewis Horrax (freestyle) and Ruairidh Jameson (butterfly) both achieved gold.
