LANCASHIRE youngster Alisha Kasam-Sharples will join England rugby star Lawrence Dallaglio for a Twickenham training session in June.
Alisha, 12, of Morecambe, joined hundreds of rugby players at the Sacla Rugby festival at Vale of Lune on Sunday an impressed coaches to be called up for the session.
She will join more than 100 other children from around the UK at the national training event on June 5.
Alisha said: "I enjoyed the tournament very much and its very exciting to win. I have played rugby since I was six, but I've never met a professional rugby player before, so I can't wait to meet Lawrence Dallaglio."
Director of rugby at Vale of Lune Andy Higgin said: "We're delighted that Alisha has been selected to attend the session at Twickenham. The festival went really well. It's very important and crucial to the club to develop rugby at grassroots level and crucial to the future of the game."
Value of Lune won the under 12 tournament at the festival while Macclesfield won the under 11 contest and Lymm the under 10 competition.
