FOURTEEN times jump jockey A. P. McCoy is down to ride at Carlisle Races on Sunday.
McCoy, who rode at the Cheltenam Festival last week, partners Brendan Powell’s Award Winner (owned by J. P. McManus), who own over the distance last time out.
Billed as Sporting Champions Family Day there will be a chance to meet and get autographs from Carlisle United Football Club players, while former boxing champion Charles Shepherd demonstrating sparing sessions, and Gary Lockerbie, Cumbria's own PGA Golf tour professional will perform putting exhibitions. The first race is at 2.30pm and the feature race of the day is the Lloyd Motor Group Novices Handicap at 4.45pm.
