UniBond Premier Division Half time: Kendal Town 3 Durham City 0 KENDAL Town have a comfortable 3-0 lead at the break against basement club Durham City at Parkside Road this afternoon.
Alex Taylor opened the scoring after six minutes when Keiran Walmsley ran through the defence and crossed for him to slot home.
And a minute later Taylor made it 2-0 following a poor clearance from Durham keeper Rhys Jobling.
The ball was headed forward and Taylor found himself one on one with Jobling and he tucked the ball under the keeper from the edge of the box and it rolled into the bottom corner.
Town continued to push in search of a third goal, but it was the visitors who almost capitalised on a lapse in defence.
Durham found themselves four on two but a wayward pass trickled behind for a goal kick.
Town grabbed the third though and should have sealed the points when Danny Wisdom fired home from eight yards on 35 minutes.
Town have been dominant and will look for more goals in the second half.
