19th hole raided...

BURGLARS stole 50 putters, 60 drivers and fairway woods and 18 nine-irons from Kendal Golf Club, on High Tenterfell, yesterday (Thursday).
Three baseball caps and seven waterproof jackets were also taken.
The total value of the equipment - manufactured by Callaway, Titleist, Prosimmon and TaylorMade - was £13,600.
An alarm sounded at 4.15am and the police found a glass door had been smashed.
