MILNTHORPE Corinthians finished their season with a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw with Crosshills.
The end-of-season form of three wins, a draw and one defeat came too late for them to avoid relegation.
Their final game in the First Division was a scrappy affair with neither team forcing the keepers to make a save.
Adam Pashley came closest to scoring, but he could not find the target. In the second half a Crosshills forward went past the despairing lunge of keeper Russ Sharpe, but put his effort wide.
Despite been relegated, Corinthians have got the chance to start again with a mixture of young and one or two older players.
First-team manager Ian Wilson, his assistant Dave Dunnerdale and second-team manager Mike Harris have put in a tremendous amount of work under difficult circumstances.
n Corinthians are running a five-a-side tournament on Sunday, May 8 (all interested teams call 01539 562884 or 07855523027 for an application form). The closing date is Saturday, April 30, for adult teams only, minimum age limit of 16 years, £25 per team.
Also in Division One, Milnthorpe Corinthians were without a game on Saturday, but with one match left to play they look doomed to Second Division football next season.
Millom were clear winners in a 3-1 local derby with Bootle, Steven Grieve, Carl Waters and Danny Paterson netting for Millom.
Carnforth Rangers lost 2-0 away to Burnley Belvedere.

Dalton United beat BAE Barrow SC 2-1 in what could be their last clash for some time as BAE face relegation from the Premier Division.
