Kendal Town 1, Mossley 2.
A free-kick hammerd home by Leon Mike deep into injury time means that Kendal face a nervous end to the season when they entertain Eastwood Town on Saturday.
But in-form Mossley, must now beat UniBond League First Division leaders North Ferriby United if they are to oust Kendal from a play-offs place.
In a game played at cup tie pace nthe breakthrough came in the 38th minute. Ged fed Lee Ashcroft who flicked the ball between the central defenders for David Foster to it and hammer it low into the right hand side of the net.
Mjossley equalised in the 53rd minute when keeper Mark Thornley brought down Leon Mike.
Chris Downey buried the spot kick in the corner of the net.
With Mossley knowing that only a victory would do, the game became frantic and scrappy with several goaline clearances at both ends and an increasing number of the ball incidents.
Mossley's Paul Challinor was stretchered off with a suspected broken leg in the 84th minute and moments later Rhoori Giggs was red carded after having words with the referee.
As so often happens 10-men Mossley then played with passion and in the second minute of added time won a free-kick on the edge of the Kendal box.
There was uproar both on the field and among the Mossley supporters as Leon Mike drove home the winner with practially the last kick of the game.
