Bamber Bridge 0,Kendal Town 5.
Two goals in the first eight minutes shattered Bamber Bridge and by the end of 90 minutes Kendal had slammed in three more to restore their claim to be UniBond League First Division front-runners this season.
Captain Lee Ashcroft led by example, finding the net in just two minutes and six minutes later winger Ged Smith added the all-important second.
From that moment the home side were always chasing the game and Ashcroft effectively put it beyond them when he made it 3-0 five minutes before half-time.
Midway through the second half John Osborne scored his first goal for the club and in the 66th minute striker Kenny Mayers rounded of the 5-0 drubbing.
Victory lifted Town to fifth in the table, three points behind leaders Fleetwood Town.
On Saturday Brigg Town are the visitors to Parkside, kick-off 3pm.
