Kendal Town 2, Fleetwood Town 1.
A pulsating match at Parkside saw resurgent Kendal take the points against UniBond League First Division leaders Fleetwood Town.
For the first 30 minutes it was all Kendal and a goal was inevitable. It arrived in the ninth minute. Stuart Cliff delivered a looping ball across the Fleetwood box for Peter Smith to smash in from 15 yards.

A fight back by Fleetwood was inevitable and in the 33rd minute left winger Lenny Reid twice feinting left, but cut infield and delivered a curler into the top right corner of the net from the edge of the area.
Fleetwood's Ian Stevens missed a chance to equalise when he just failed to connect with a low cross from two yards out and Richard Allen headed wide from a free-kick.
With half-time looming a Foster header rebounded from the crossbar.
End-to-end play continued in the second half and on 66 minutes Fleetwood almost grabbed the equaliser when Stevens slammed a volley against the bar from 10 yards.
After Nathan Pond was red carded for a second foul on 85 minutes the game was beyond the visitors.
Now Town will seek to make it three wins on the bounce in a home match with Chorley on Saturday. Kick-off is at 2pm because of the England v Austria World Cup qualifier at 4pm.
