KILLINGTON has fished well over the past week and the new stock in of rainbow trout has helped anglers catch fish on both worms and fly.
Brown trout are also showing at killington.
At Lancaster Canal roach are doing well on maggot from the Crooklands area of the canal as is the case at Sedgwick.
At Chewit Field coarse fishery tench and quality carp have come out this week with fish of up to 18lb being caught in the early mornings.
Gatebeck Tarn at Endmoor has recently had a new stocking of a variety of coarse fish and anglers should expect an improvement in catch returns.
The new otter fence has now been erected and the future of the fishery is looking very good.
Wych Elm and Farletonview fisheries have improved due to buzzer hatches late in the afternoon and into the evening.
TIP OF THE WEEK Now the clocks have gone forward an hour a dash out from work for the last 2/3 hours can prove to be very productive, especially in trout waters. Try small black buzzers and daiwl bachs.
