MARK Bowman picked up a rib cartlilage injury which caused him to go off in the first half in Saturday's win oiver Morley and is out of the Kendal squad that travels to Luctonians tomorrow (Saturday).
Joe Mallinson takes over in the No8 jersey with Dan White starting at flanker after coming on a replacement last weekend.
Kendal's backs are unchanged , while there will be a couple of fitness tests for replacements Iain Hudson and and Andrew Quarry.
Quarry is recovering after back-muscle problem, but Hudson damaged an eye socket at Morley.
Coach Ian Voortman said Hudson became aware of the problem when he blew his nose after the game and his eye popped out of the socket slightly.
There's a 9am start for the long trip.
KENDAL lock-forward Joe Robinson is named as vice-captain to Freddie Gabbitass for the England Under-18 Clubs and Schools ahead of the warm-up game against Worcester Warriors' Academy Under-19s on Sunday.
The fixture, originally scheduled at the Sixways Stadium, may be moved to Bromsgrove School (noon), but a final decision will be made on Friday.
The team will then head to Ashbourne AFC, Dublin the following Sunday (April 10), to play Ireland Under-18s Clubs.
Robinson (also Sedbergh and Newcastle Falcons Academy) is one of four squad members who represented England Under-16s.
