KENDAL Ladies were promoted to the Premier League of the North Women's Hockey League today.
The girls had an anxious wait for Preston to complete their campaign against City of York this morning.
But a 3-2 result for Preston was not enough to lift them above Kendal, who are promoted on goal difference by finishing second behind Bolton in Division One.
Congratulations to all at the club.
