KENDAL coach Jon Nicholson said: “With a maximum 25 points still available to Morley, National League survival is far from assured.
“However a win against Nuneaton on Saturday would go a long way to ensuring it is.
“This Nuneaton fixture has been on the radar for several weeks now and it is one we have all been desperately waiting for.
“Both teams have won seven of their last 10 games and it will be a real physical and mental test.
“Our performance down there in December was probably the lowest point of Kendal’s season and I know those who played in that game will want to make amends.
He said a poor start against Leicester saw too much ball given away cheaply and it was defended poorly.
“However we kept battling; took them on in the second half and certainly had them rattled in the last few minutes.
“ Solid performances came from Matty Houghton and Leo Mercer both making first seniorstarts in their preferred positions of hooker and centre respectively and also John Ladell playing at No9 for the first time in a several seasons.”
