TEJVAN Pettinger (Sri Chimnoy Cycling Team) defends his title in next Monday's Shap Summit Bank Holiday Hill Climb.
The Oxford rider heads a field of 47 riders for the Kent Valley Road Club open event, which starts just north of Mint Bridge at noon.
Others to watch are Levens flier Jonathan Knox (Team Wallis CHH) and Sam Huddleston (Herbalife/Wheelbase) from Barbon. Also riding are a group of Scots, breaking their journey home from a junior cycling festival on the Isle of Man.
Brigsteer rider John Ingham won Easter Monday's Lancaster CC 10, on the Levens course, in 21-15. Andrew Barlow led the Kent Valley contingent with 22-16 ahead of Tim Bennett on 22-51, Neil Stirling 25-07 and Ann Nicholson 27-30.
Kent Valley's midweek 10 on Levens was won by David Baxter in 20-50 from John Ingham on 20-58. Junior Beau Smith rode 21-42 and other leading local times were: Lynn Hamel 22-09; Tim Bennett 22-29; Steve Hodgson 22-29; Luke Osborne 22-37; Glenn Howarth 23-06; Ian Jackson 23-20; Dave Wilkinson 23-28; Nigel Hooker 23-43; Stuart Mounsey 23-47 and Chris Kennedy 23-58.
