Cricket - Brief encounter in Cumbria Cup for Milnthorpe

KENDAL all-rounder Jack White struck with the ball, taking 6-13 as they skittled out Milnthorpe for just 36 in the first round of the Cumbria Cup at Shap Road on Sunday.

Chris Miller's side went to win by nine wickets with 30 overs in hand and now playing Workington in the next round.

Netherfield entertain Fleetwood in the FBS Northern Premier League action today (Bank Holiday Monday), with Kendal make the trip to Carnforth.
