TROUTBECK Bridge swimmers produced a series of competitive contests in another round of Club Championships.
The gala opened with the gruelling 200m butterfly which saw 15-year-old Laura Garraick ease her way to a comfortable victory.
In contrast the 25m breaststroke gave the sprinters an opportunity to shine.
Sophie Richardson, Charlotte Morris and Archie Carr all got away to great starts and held off all challenges for decisive wins.
Abbie Wild had a momentous battle with Lucy Bradbury and Megan Nicholson for a win in a blanket finish.
Stephanie Booth showed her class at this stroke with a classic swim to set a new club record.
Her time of 17.84 also broke the junior sprint record for 25m breaststroke.
Scott Munro-Bennett also achieved a new record time 17.52 in this event, while Laura Garrick took her second win.
Other winners were Emily Wild, Daniel Booth, Sam Harrison, Max Edgecombe, Robert Mc Gurk and Andy Bennett The 100m freestyle events produced more outstanding results.
Amy Bidder, Hazel Marsh, Amy Richardson, James Brookes and Lewis Horrax got their first wins.
Richardson’s time of 1:06.87 set another club record.
Bidder and Charlotte Morris were in a close tussle before the former just touched out Morris for the win.
The 50m backstroke saw another club record of 34.85 go to Amy Richardson with another brilliant swim and another victory.
Impressive wins also went to Abbey Bissland and Lucy Bradbury whose immaculate starts and turns gave them an extra edge.
The 50m backstroke junior sprint final brought out the best in Scott Munro-Bennett who powered his way to a winning time of 32.31 and his second club record of the evening.
