LAKELAND had two course winners at West Cumberland OC’s event on Muncaster Fell in the Cumbrian Galoppen series.
Adam Bartlett (M14) was fastest in the 3.8km technical Green course with clubmate Natalie Beadle (W14) recording second fastest. Hannah Cleary-Hughes (W14) was fastest on the 2.9km intermediate difficulty Light Green.
Other club members achieved leading overall times and within their age classes across all courses.
On the 7.5km Brown, Chris Heppenstall (M21) was third, Carl Edmonds (M18) fourth, Matthew Penellum (M18) fifth, Richard Wilson (M55) seventh and Tony Richardson (M65) 19th.
Other results: Blue (6.2km) - Sam Jefferson (M16) second, Will Rigg (M14) third, Richard Tiley (M50) seventh, Angus Dobson (M16) eighth, Robert Browne (M21) ninth, Rebekah Beadle (W45) tenth and John Bettinson (M70) 26th.
Green: Ali Fryer (W20) seventh, Dave Binks (Warrior, M60) eighth, Anne Wilson (W55) 19th, Richard Day (M65) 23rd and Bob Stewardson (M80) 35th.
Short Green (3.1km): Dave Crutchley (M75) seventh, Becca McKenny (W20) eighth, Alan Heppenstall (M65) ninth and Erica Clapp (W65) eleventh.
Light Green: Lois Jefferson (W14) fifth, Kirsten Bell (W14) seventh and Katie Mitchell (W14) ninth.
On the younger junior courses: Orange (1.9km): Callum Mitchell second, Thomas Edmonds third, Ben Cooper fourth, Lucy Ball fifth and Katie Dixon sixth.
Yellow (1.5km):Grace Pugh third, Kirsten and Jennifer Ramsay (Warrior) fourth and sixth.
