ONE of Kendal's "greats" Casey Mee returns as guest speaker at the club's annual dinner at the Mint Bridge cluhouse this Saturday.
A mercurial play-making Kiwi half-back, Mee featured in the championship-winning team that moved into National Division Two.
He spent four seasons with the club before going to play in Diviison 1 with Wakefield.
His finest hour probably came in the memorable fourth-round Tetley Bitter Cup tie against London Scottish in which Kendal went down 25-20 after Mee was held up over the tryline at the death, giving their Premiership opponents a gigantic scare.
The players' player of the year and other awards presentations and club badges will be made during the evening.
Meanwhile, Kendal have fixed up pre-season matches away at Vale and at home to Wharfedale for the annual Peter Kremer Memorial Trophy, with a match against Penrith on the last Saturday before the new season starts to be confirmed.
