Bodybuilding: Helen qualifies for British finals

KENDAL bodybuilder Helen Thwaites achieved a double success at the Yorkshire Bodybuilding Championships held at Holmfirth.

Helen was placed first in the Miss Physique catergory in which the female figure is judged on muscle tone and symmetry, and also won best presentation for her stage performance.

This qualifies her to compete at the Natural Physique Association British Finals held later in the year.

A regular member of Kendal’s Pride Health and Fitness, Thwaites was thrilled, especially after sustaining an injury earlier in the year that threatened to disrupt her training regime.

Following her result Thwaites was interviewed by LA Muscle TV and film footage from Saturday’s competition will be broadcast on Sky Active Channel later this year.
