STEPHANIE Booth showed her class as a sprinter as Troutbeck Bridge swimmers enjoyed another round of their Club Championships.
Booth’s classic 25m breaststroke set a new club record and her time of 17.48 also broke the junior sprint record.
Sophie Richardson, Charlotte Morris and Archie Carr all got away to great starts and held off all challenges for decisive wins.
Abbie Wild had a momentous battle with Lucy Bradbury and Megan Nicholson for a win in a blanket finish.
Fourteen-year-old Scott Munro –Bennett also achieved a new record time of 17.52 in this event, while Laura Garrick took her second win of the evening to go with her 200m butterfly.
Other 25m winners were Emily Wild, Daniel Booth, Sam Harrison, Max Edgcombe, Robert McGurk and Andy Bennett Munro-Bennett powered to a 32.31 win in the 50m backstroke for his second club record.
In the 100m freestyle, Amy Richardson’s time of 1:06.87 set another club record, while she also took the 50m backstroke in another club record of 34.85.
Other first wins achieved at this distance went to Amy Bidder, Hazel Marsh, James Brookes and Lewis Horrax.
Impressive 50m backstroke successes also went to Abbey Bissland and Lucy Bradbury.
