TROUTBECK Bridge swimmers produced oustanding solo displays at their annual medals gala held at the Lakes Leisure Centre in Kendal.
Robert McGurk won five golds in the 16/over section, while Max Edgecombe, 14, was not far behind with four golds and a silver.
The club’s top girls were in commanding form with 15-year-old Laura Garrick taking four golds after momentous tussles with clubmate Hazel Marsh, and she added a silver to her haul.
Two stunning performances brought Emily Wild well-earned victories, while Ollie Sergeant, aged nine , took silver and bronze at his first attempt.
Gold also went to Charlotte Thomson for an immaculate 50m breaststroke swim, while Sam Harrison, Scott Munro- Bennett, Stephanie Booth and Amy Richardson were also top of the podium.
With mementoes down to sixth place other notable awards went to Callum Seton, Todd Lindsay, Daniel Booth, James Marsh, Rebekah Booth, Amy Reay, Emily Reay, Evie and Rosie Russell-Cohen and Lucy Bradbury.
